Sketched from memory of the little roe deer I startled in the woods. Don't know who was more surprised the deer or me.
The weir on the River Lednock August 2011. I sat here and listened with joy to the sounds of the river as it gurgled and laughed at me moving merrily over the stones.

Saturday 15th January 2011 Petition launch of Camden United Against the Cuts Campaign. I met Didi and Claire campaigners from WinVisible outside Sainsbury’s in Camden Town. We handed out leaflets about the Mother’s March which is taking place on Saturday March 12th 2011 during International Women’s Week. Afterwards I walked towards Regent’s Park via Cecil Sharp House. I wanted to go in to see the painted mural by Ivon Hitchens. I could not go into to see the mural today because there was an orchestra rehearsing in the large hall where the mural is located. I walked on to Regent’s Park and went into St. John’s Gardens which was totally isolated. I sat quietly under a metal arch and did this pen and wash of the gardens with John Nash's Villa in the background.
